Recap: The 2026 Getaway
After a year break, we went back to Canyon Ranch!  With improved customer service options for our group, this was a more intimate experience!  Hosts Sue and Alan Silberstein offered  classes, supervised play, introduction to Samba classes and prize money tournaments.  The generous per person resort credit allowed all guests to Rest, Relax and Canasta!!

Recap of our 2026 Cruise
Our 10th Annual Cruise, Feb. 22, 2026 was our BEST CRUISE YET!!

We returned to the Beyond, for a 7-night cruise, stopping first in St. Johns, then Tortola and finally to Nassau before returning to Miami on March 1, 2026.  
Our guests enjoyed tons of Canasta and even learned about the latest new trend: Samba and Super Samba!
The hosts included the co-authors of the CLA Ultimate Guide to Canasta, Sue & Alan Silberstein and Jennifer Jackson-Strage.  They were supported by our "Canasta Concierge" Stephanie Stoloff who proved worthy in anticipating problems, finding solutions AND even had time to solicit items for an impromptu Raffle!!
We hosted FOUR Tournaments including two $600 prize pool events and a return of our very popular "Joker" Tournament.  New this year, and a definite fan favorite, was COLOR WAR.  Both Joker and Color Wars had 8 rounds of play where guests played with different partners and opponents each turn.  Spoiler Alert! Red Team won!
Additionally, we offered a variety of Canasta Lectures & Programs, many of which were re-vamped specially for this trip.  For example, we had two panel discussions with four CLA Certified Instructors, we provided a slide show discussion on "WHAT WOULD YOU DO" with a variety of situations presented and allowed the room to discuss options.  We hosted a Professional "Plus One" opportunity where tables could have a Pro play with each of their four players and we learned the basics of Samba, Super Samba, and 5-Player Rotations.
