WELCOME TEACHERS!!!
If you are interested in becoming, or are already, a Canasta Instructor, the natural next step is to take your Canasta business to the next level and become an ACCREDITED INSTRUCTOR. Once you have passed the approval process, which is exclusively offered by Canasta University through its partnership with the CLA™, you will be recognized as an Accredited CLA™ Instructor. Becoming accredited not only identifies your degree of expertise in the game of Canasta but it also recognizes and supports the Canasta League of America, the only recognized canasta league in the US; as the CLA strengthens, so will your reputation and standing. The CLA works with Canasta University to ensure consistency in their teachers and equality in their certification. As part of your evaluation, you will earn the right to use our logos on your business cards, be listed on the CLA website and have access to a wealth of teaching tools. In addition you will have access to suggested ways to grow your business for both in person and via zoom (or other technology) classes. Additional benefits include special identification on Canasta Junction, the only CLA approved app, as well as the ability to teach open hands on the CJ platform. For a small investment of $349 and a reasonable annual renewal or $249, you can start your own business doing something that you love. Of course, there are certain expectations for CLA Teachers which will be outlined during your evaluation call and reiterated in your manual.
